One Bucket List Tick At A Time!

‘Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing’ - Sarah Ban Breathnach

I’m not really one for setting those new year resolutions as I feel that it sometimes puts a little too much pressure on January and the new year, but one thing I want to try and keep to this year is making sure that each month marks a new adventure : a new coffee shop, a new hike, a new beach, a new city, a new country, a new experience… something special that marks each month without any real pressures! In a world that is filled with so many distractions it can be so easy to not only get caught up in our normal day-to-day routines, but by the hours we spend aimlessly scrolling online, something that I’m sure most of us would agree we need to cut back on!

Don’t get me wrong, I love an instagram scroll as much as the next person and seeing just how creative and talented some people are with their beautiful art making and picture taking, but I don’t want to look back on time and wonder how I spent it or worse still, have it that my days slowly fade into each other! I want to look back and think of the new memories I made and how each month was marked by a certain adventure!

2025 and the year of the 40th, was such a beautiful year filled with such special memory-making that it has made me all the more determined to try and keep the tradition going, to tick off those bucket list dreams one by one, no matter how big or small they may be! This life is short and I don’t want to look back with any regrets or feel that I wasted any time! ( 2025 recap reel! )

So, here are some January highlights below, kicking 2026 off how I mean to go on and all that! Who knows, it may even be the year of consistent blogging too!

January 2026 - The beautiful January Wolf Moon, the first of the winter snow, my studio celebrating 6 years, the first photography print sale of the new year, the first hit of new year vitamin sea, a walk along my favourite beach Whitepark Bay, flying through Storm Chandra and last but not least two days in beautiful Bristol!
