Now that Autumn is officially here and Hygge season has begun it felt only right to mark it with a mini shoot of the new Autumn edition of Simpy Scandi magazine!

Tomorrow sees the official start of Autumn here on the Emerald Isle and with it my favourite way to mark a new season! It’s time for those Lavender Line Photography colour palettes to help inspire your home decor for the cosy months ahead!

Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year with a change in the sunlight and landscapes becoming beautiful golden wonderlands, something that the sunset chaser in me adores! From little rustic moments to dreamy coastal sunsets and pretty city sundowns, there is a little something for everyone who wants to bring a touch of Autumn into their room or office settings!

Which colour palette fits your cosy vibe best? For me I think it has to be palette number one and that Ballycastle sunset!

A Cosy Simply Scandi Sunday!

August already! How and when did that happen?

Although August marks that half way point in Summer, this year feels like there has been a slight change in the air with Autumn trying to make itself known a little early. So, with a change in the weather and it a lazy Sunday, today felt like the perfect day to pour a cup of tea, put a record on and enjoy the newest Simply Scandi Autumn edition!

When I think of Autumn I think of beautiful crisp walks in sunshine, rustic coloured moments and of course a candle of two for those darker nights that start to creep in. For this edition of Simply Scandi Magazine I wanted to combine my love of those autumnal tones with my love of the sea and so ‘Coral Nights’ seemed the perfect fit for my Autumn small business directory feature #ShopScandiSmall.

It is still such a honour to have my photography work featured in my favourite magazine, a feeling that will never grow old and hasn’t third time around!
